Terms of Service — GuestQR
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Welcome to GuestQR. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and VIVO Aromi s.r.o. ("GuestQR", "we", "our"), a company registered in the Czech Republic, governing your access to getguestqr.com and the GuestQR dashboard (the "Service"). Creating an account means you accept these Terms.
1. What GuestQR is
GuestQR lets people who manage short-term rental properties build a digital guest guide — Wi‑Fi, house rules, local recommendations, and similar — that guests open from a QR code or link, in the language they read. Hosts can start a guide from scratch or import details from an existing listing (see Section 4).
2. Your account
- You can sign in with Google, or with your email address and a password. Either way, the details you give us must be accurate, and the email address must be yours — we ask you to confirm it before the account can be used.
- You need to be old enough, and have the legal capacity, to enter into a binding contract where you live — that's 18 in most places, and whatever your local law sets otherwise.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account; if you think someone else has access to it, tell us at support@getguestqr.com right away.
- One account is meant for one host or team managing their own properties — not for reselling access to unrelated third parties.
3. Your content and what we do with it
- Everything you put into a guide — text, photos, house rules, recommendations — stays yours. We don't claim ownership of it.
- You give us permission to store, display, translate and otherwise process that content, but only so we can run the Service (show your guide to your guests, generate the QR code and poster, etc.).
- You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use anything you upload — photos included — and that it doesn't break the law or infringe on someone else's rights.
4. Importing a listing
If you choose to import from an existing Airbnb (or similar) listing, we fetch the public listing data on your behalf — photos, description, amenities — to save you re-typing it. You're still the one who decides what goes into the published guide; imported content is a starting point, not something we publish automatically.
5. AI-assisted translation
Guides can be offered in more than one language. Where you haven't written a translation yourself, we may generate one automatically using a third-party language model, so guests can read your guide in their own language. Machine translations are a convenience, not a guarantee of accuracy — for anything safety-critical (allergy notes, emergency numbers), check the translation yourself.
6. Plans, free trial and billing
- Paid plans (currently Solo, Portfolio, Business — see the pricing page for current prices and limits) are billed monthly or yearly, in advance.
- New subscriptions start with a 7‑day free trial. We ask for a card up front so nothing interrupts your guide once the trial ends; if you cancel before the trial is over, nothing is charged.
- Who sells the plans. Our plans are sold through Link — Sold through Link, LLC acts as the reseller and merchant of record for your purchase. Link takes the payment, issues your receipt and invoice, and handles VAT; your card statement shows "LINK.COM* GETGUESTQR.COM". Link's own terms of sale apply to the payment itself; these Terms apply to the Service. We never see or store your full card details.
- Prices include VAT. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay — the tax is worked out inside that amount at the rate for your country, not added on top at checkout.
7. Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. No further charges go out, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Not happy with a charge? Ask for a refund within 14 days of it, no questions asked — see our separate Refund Policy for how to ask.
8. What you agree not to do
Please don't use GuestQR to:
- Publish anything illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- Try to break into the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or upload malicious code;
- Copy, resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us;
- Send spam or otherwise deceive guests who scan your QR code;
- Store sensitive personal data about guests (health information, ID numbers, etc.) in guide content — the Service isn't built to protect that category of data.
Depending on how serious it is, we may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, with or without advance warning.
9. Ours: the Service itself
The GuestQR software, design, branding and everything behind it belongs to us (or our licensors). These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service — nothing more.
10. Uptime and changes to the Service
We work to keep GuestQR reliably online but can't promise it'll never go down — maintenance happens, and so do things outside our control (a provider outage, for instance). We may add, change or retire features over time; if a change removes something you rely on, we'll try to give you reasonable notice.
11. No warranty
The Service is provided as it is. We don't promise it's error-free, uninterrupted, or guaranteed to fit every use case, beyond what the law requires us to promise.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows it: our liability to you is capped at what you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses — lost profits, lost bookings, lost data, that sort of thing. This cap doesn't apply to things the law won't let us limit, like intentional harm, gross negligence or harm to a person.
13. If something you do gets us into trouble
If a claim against us comes from your content, your use of the Service, or you breaking these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs (including legal fees) in dealing with it.
14. Ending things
- You can close your account at any time. Cancel your plan on the Billing page, then email support@getguestqr.com from the address your account uses. We'll delete the account and its guides and confirm by email within one month.
- We can suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or don't pay what's owed.
- Once your account is gone, your guides — and the QR codes that point to them — stop working, and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. For anything material, we'll give you reasonable notice — by email or in the dashboard — before it takes effect. Using the Service after that means you've accepted the update.
16. Governing law and language
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you're a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country still apply on top of this. A consumer dispute can also be taken to out-of-court resolution with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, www.coi.cz).
We publish these Terms and our other legal pages in several languages for convenience. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies, unless mandatory law gives you the right to rely on the version in your language.
